Taupo Bungy is the North Island’s most popular bungy jump. The unique cantilever platform projects out from the cliff-top, above the inviting waters of the Waikato River below. Whether you choose to bungy solo or tandem, and if you want to add more thrills to your jump, we specialise in getting people wet, whether you’d rather a hand touch or full body submersion, we endeavour to deliver a refreshing adventure.

‘Cliff Hanger’ is the newest adrenaline rush and adds another dimension to our traditional bungy site. It offers those who are challenged by the idea of hanging upside down, a feet-first mind-blowing rush, and those who are all about ‘extreme’ another activity to do before or after their bungy experience. Swingers can choose a countdown or the surprise option, either way the release cord is pulled and the freefall will kick in. Swinging right down towards the crystal clear waters below, then arcing up to nearly 180°, the experience will reach speeds of up to 70kph. As the swinging slows, one can finally take in the intensely scenic view of the Waikato River Valley, while you enjoy the ride back to the platform. Swingers can choose whether to go solo or tandem.
