Just 20 minutes from Rotorua – New Zealand’s famed thermal, cultural and lakes wonderland, and in the heart of a 2,500 acre eco and wilderness park, you could put it as a New Zealand wildlife safari! There are 12 villas and suites to pick from, providing peace, ambience, privacy and tranquility. Treetops has an endless array of recreational activities with 70km’s of hiking trails, hunting for trophy red deer, sika, fallow, rusa and samba along with pigs, pheasants and possums. For the non hunters and fishers: eco-tours, mountain biking, heli sightseeing and wine tours, photographic safaris, horse-riding the list goes on and on!

Hunting
Hunting at Treetops is all about quality of trophies taken in the field. The field is covered in native bush and clearings, therefore a spot for stalk type hunting applies.

Fishing
Fishing here is world-class, the locations are undeniably spectacular. There is a diverse range of waters available to us and with your guide you will fish at some of the most beautiful area’s in the country boasting some of the best year-round brown and rainbow trout in the world. But it gets better – for a truely unique experience try out the wilderness heli fishing.

The Lodge Rooms
