Rugged Coast Seal 4WD Safari

A Seal Coast Safari is a unique wildlife tour, leaving from downtown Wellington – and we are in the middle of a nature paradise in 15 minutes! The wild south coast of Wellington is home to many species of sea birds, as well as the beautiful New Zealand Fur Seal. The tour vehicles travel along the beach and around the bays, with the ocean on one side and towering hills on the other. The Department of Conservation approved professional guide will explain their seal life cycle and amazing sex life. After tea or coffee with the seals, we head back to Wellington by going overland through a private farm, where we also see goats, sheep, cows and deer. Awesome views of mountains, city and sea are also a feature. You will be absolutely delighted by this tour, especially at how close they can actually get to the seals!
